About UR TV Cast

How We Approach Coverage

Los Angeles has one of the densest live entertainment calendars anywhere, from arena tours and outdoor amphitheater seasons to small clubs, comedy rooms and neighborhood festivals. Covering that range well means making choices, and our desk tries to be clear about how we make them. We look for events that matter to people who actually go out in the city: shows with real local interest, performers building an audience, and venues that shape the character of LA nightlife.

When we write about an event, we focus on information that helps you decide whether to go and how to enjoy it. That usually means context about the artist or production, what kind of experience to expect from the venue, and practical notes on getting there. Traffic and parking are a genuine part of any LA night out, so we often point out when public transit, rideshare or arriving early is the smarter option. Our guide to LA venues collects this kind of background in one place.

What we are, and what we are not

UR TV Cast is an independent editorial site. We are not a ticket seller, a promoter or an official channel for any venue or artist. Dates, line-ups and ticket availability can change at short notice, so we always recommend confirming details with the official venue or event website before you buy or travel. Where we mention tickets, it is to help you find the right source, not to sell them.

Following along

Our schedule highlights what is coming up, while the archive keeps earlier coverage available for anyone curious about past shows, recurring festivals or how a venue's programming has changed over time. We also value hearing from readers: tips about overlooked events, corrections, and suggestions for venues or performers we should pay attention to all help us improve. Good live coverage depends on people who care about the scene, and we are glad to count our audience among them.
